The beautiful and unique Yu Shan mountain in Taiwan is a must-see destination for any traveler. The mountains are covered with lush forests and they look like they were created by the gods.

The hike to the top of the mountain takes about 3 hours 45 minute, but you can also take a cable car up to the peak! The hike is quite strenuous, so bring plenty of water and snacks. It is said that the area used to be a small village during Japanese rule. The Japanese government built a park on top of the mountain range in 1927. But later on when they were leaving Taiwan in 1945, they destroyed most of the buildings and left only some parts intact.

Yu Shan mountain has a unique climate. It is located in Taiwan, which has a tropical climate with four distinct seasons. The average temperature is 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit), with an annual rainfall of 400 millimeters (16 inches).

The climate up on the mountain is much cooler than other places in Taiwan. The rainy season lasts from June through September, during which time the average daily temperature is 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit). During the dry season, temperatures are generally lower than those found in other areas of Taiwan but not as low as those found on high mountains like Taipei or Chiayi.
